General Rental and Services Conditions

Welcome to 9 29 Artspace Studio! We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to rent our studios and take advantage of our complementary services. Before making your reservation, we invite you to carefully read the general rental and service conditions below.

General Rental Conditions (CGL)

The opening hours of the studio are from 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week. Overtime sessions and hours are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

For any location:

  • The customer undertakes to return the premises and the equipment entrusted to him in the condition in which he received them, its use being presumed to be in accordance with the use for which it is intended.
  • Any technical problem or damage to the premises must be reported to the 9 29 Artspace Studio representative on site.
  • The customer is solely responsible for the degradation, or even the destruction (total or partial) of the premises and the equipment made available to him.
  • Background paper and any other consumables will be paid for before the end of the session on site.
  • Overtime and surcharges will be payable before the end of the session on site.
  • The customer is required to take out insurance against any risk for which he may incur liability vis-à-vis the company 9 29 Artspace Studio or its staff.
  • The rental takes effect when the customer or his agent takes possession of the rented property on the premises of the lessor. Custody will be transferred when the equipment is handed over to the customer who will assume full responsibility for it, the latter declaring to use it as a “good father”.
  • The customer declares that he personally had the opportunity to check the rented equipment, to find it in accordance with his needs and in good working condition, clean, properly maintained, in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
  • The customer undertakes to have the rented property insured against any harmful consequences likely to occur in the context of the use by the tenant of the rented property. The obligation to insure at the expense of the tenant does not imply any waiver on the part of the Company 9 29 Artspace Studio to take any recourse against the customer, if necessary.
  • The lending or subletting of rented materials is strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of 9 29 Artspace Studio.
  • Hereby, the customer undertakes to return the equipment entrusted to him in the condition in which he received it, this condition being presumed to be in accordance with the use for which it is intended.
  • The customer undertakes to report to 9 29 Artspace Studio any technical incident that has occurred to the equipment. In the event of deterioration or destruction of the rented equipment, the costs of repair or replacement will be fully borne by the tenant. The operations necessary for the repair or replacement will be carried out by the partner company exclusively, with the tenant bearing the entire financial burden.
  • In the event of theft, the customer must, under his responsibility, file a statement as soon as possible to the nearest police station as well as to his insurance company.

Equipment rental

We also offer the rental of photo and video equipment in partnership with a professional. In the event of breakage or damage to the rented equipment, the costs of repair or replacement will be fully borne by the customer. The operations necessary for the repair or replacement will be carried out by the professional exclusively, the customer bearing the entire financial burden.

Connecting with Talents

We connect our clients with talents such as photographers, makeup artists, video artists, video artists, stylists, retouchers, editors, and calibrators. For this service, we receive a 30% commission (15% on the client side and 15% on the artist side) on the total amount of the service. Please note that 9 29 Artspace Studio is not responsible for any dissatisfaction with the rendering produced by the freelancer; this is the direct responsibility of the talent.

Limitation of Liability Clause

  • 9 29 Artspace Studio cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect damage that may be suffered by the tenant in the event of impossibility of using the studio or the equipment on the scheduled day of the shooting, due to any reason beyond his control. In this case, 9 29 Artspace Studio undertakes to find another date in agreement with the tenant, no compensation will be due.
  • 9 29 Artspace Studio will not incur any responsibility towards the customer in the event of a failure or malfunction of the rented property.
  • 9 29 Artspace Studio cannot in any way be held responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, incident or accident occurring during the use of the rented property.
  • 9 29 Artspace Studio can also not be held responsible for any damage, direct or indirect, direct or indirect, incident or accident suffered by any property that could be entrusted to the customer's staff in any capacity whatsoever, or that this same personnel could be required to handle, during the use of the rented property.
  • Any personal risk, loss, theft or deterioration of the rented property is the responsibility of the tenant. 9 29 Artspace Studio is not responsible for clothing and objects of any nature and value whatsoever left before, during and after the shooting by the tenant in the rented property.

Bookings

100% of the amount must be paid to 9 29 Artspace Studio in order to reserve the selected slot.

Refund and Credit

  • Full refund within 15 working days.
  • Refund before 7 working days. Valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
  • No refunds until 2 business days.
  • Modification of your session authorized before 7 working days.

Subscription

  • The subscription is taken out for a minimum period of 3 months.
  • The subscription is paid monthly in advance.
  • Any month started is due in full.
  • No refund will be granted for the current months, even in case of absence or impossibility to attend the sessions.
  • Any excess of the number of hours included in the subscription will be billed according to our current standard rates.
  • In case of cancellation of the subscription, a cancellation fee will be charged. This fee is the total cost of the remaining months until the end of the commitment period.
  • The cancellation of the subscription must be notified in writing at least 30 days before the desired date for cancellation.
  • The subscription is automatically renewed for a period of one month unless the customer sends a written cancellation request before the renewal date.

Sale in Pack of Rental Hours

  • Rental hour packs are valid for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase.
  • The hours included in the pack can be used at any time during the validity period.
  • Hours not used at the end of the validity period are not refundable or rescheduled.
  • Bookings for rental hours included in the pack are subject to the availability of our studios.
  • Rental hour pack rates are determined at the time of purchase and will not be subject to revisions during the validity period.
  • Any excess of the number of hours included in the pack will be invoiced according to our current standard rates.
  • Rental hour packs are non-transferable to third parties and cannot be resold.

Rates

  • The prices for rentals and services are set by the company 9 29 Artspace Studio according to the rates in force on the day of reservation.
  • These rates are increased for weekend rentals and services (and holidays) as well as for overtime and hours outside of our opening hours.
  • The rates charged by 9 29 Artspace Studio may be revised at any time, depending on the economic conditions in force.

Responsibility

Rooom acts as a platform for connecting customers and artists. As a result, Rooom assumes no responsibility for dissatisfaction on the part of customers or artists. Rooom does not guarantee either the quality of services provided by artists or the satisfaction of customer expectations. Disputes arising between customers and artists should be resolved directly between the parties involved.

Production role

Rooom acts as a producer of visual services and not as a marketplace. Rooom is authorized to charge for services provided by artists on behalf of the artists, adding a 25% commission on the initial price set by the artist. Rooom is committed to redistributing customer payments to artists within 30 days of the end of the mission.

Refund conditions

Customers can request a full refund of the amount paid for an assignment, subject to the following conditions:

  1. A full refund is available up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled shooting date.
  2. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to Rooom.
  3. Rooom reserves the right to withhold 20% of the amount paid to cover administrative and management costs.

Intellectual property

The intellectual property rights of the works created as part of the missions are the property of the artists, unless otherwise stipulated in a contract between the client and the artist.

Confidentiality

Rooom is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of personal information provided by customers and artists. Personal data will be used only for the provision of services and will not be shared with third parties without prior consent.

Public communication

Rooom reserves the right to publicly communicate on behalf of artists about productions made as part of its platform, for promotion and marketing purposes.

Termination of contract

Rooom reserves the right to terminate a contract with a customer or artist in the event of non-compliance with the general conditions of service or inappropriate behavior. Termination of the contract may result in the cancellation of the current mission and the retention of the corresponding costs.

Advance payment

In order to recruit an artist, the customer must pay 100% of the amount indicated by Rooom before the start of the mission. No artist will be mobilized without full payment having been made in advance.

Jurisdiction

In the event of a dispute, only the courts of Paris will be competent, including in the event of multiple defendants and warranty claims.
